Cindy has over 20 years of experience providing evidence based, compassionate care. She provides obstetrical risk assessments and
co-management of moderate risk patients to licensed midwives in Arkansas and Oklahoma. 

In addition, Cindy is available for telephone consultations and prescriptions appointments to assist both lay midwives and their clients if they are wanting to avoid the ER, Urgent Care, or HD. 

Cindy aims  to bridge the gap between clients and their medications. She believes this will be valuable for community midwives who need to obtain Rhogam, Vitamin K, Prophylactic eye medication, antibiotics, GBS antibiotics, progesterone, and birth control.
 
The process is easy, fast, and you have options for your client! 

Option 1

Contact Cindy via phone or text message that you have a patient who would like to schedule a risk assessment (RA).  Cindy will contact the client to schedule a telemedicine visit.

 

Cindy prefers to do the 36-week RA with the Certified Practicing Midwife/Licensed Lay Midwife so she can visualize you doing the assessment for telemedicine requirements on my part. 

Prescription Process

Cindy can prescribe any suitable medications online except for CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES. The prescription is sent to the client's pharmacy of choice and should be ready in 1-2 hours. Cindy can obtain rhogam and GBS prophylaxis medications to be delivered to your client's home.

                                  Most insurance companies provide coverage regarding CNM care. Most reimburse at 100%. I encourage you to contact your provider and ask them directly what their policy is with your particular plan.

                                  I do not file insurance claims for you, but will provide an itemized statement complete with CPT codes and my NPI number for your use when seeking reimbursement from your insurance provider.
