Midwifery Care
My mission is to assist women and families in having the birth they desire while ensuring safety. I am homebirth-friendly and can provide initial, 36-week, and 42-week risk assessments that comply with ADH policy and procedure. While I am available for you during your pregnancy, I do not attend your birth.
Cindy has over 25 years of experience providing evidence based, compassionate care. She provides obstetrical risk assessments and co-management of moderate risk patients to licensed CPM/LLMs in Arkansas.
In addition, Cindy is available for audio/visual telemedicine visits for prescriptions to assist both CPM/LLMs and their clients if they are wanting to avoid the ER, Urgent Care, or the Health Department.
Cindy aims to bridge the gap between clients and their medications. She believes this will be invaluable for the community midwives who have clients needing RhoGAM, Vitamin K, Prophylactic Erythromycin, Antibiotics for GBS Prophylaxis, Progesterone for endometrial support, antiemetics, and neonatal medications. Most of these medications are not available through standard pharmacies, leaving many women without access. Clients will no longer need to visit the health department for a 36-week risk assessment to obtain medications, nor will they need to return within three days postpartum for RhoGAM injections. This also eliminates the need to visit the emergency room within 72 hours for repeat blood typing, avoiding unnecessary testing and costly ER bills. These medications should be readily available to all clients as part of comprehensive care, just as they are in hospital settings.

How Cindy Helps

Telemedicine Risk Assessments: Initial, 36-week, and 42-week assessments for homebirth clients.

Co-Management: Teamwork with CPM/LLMs for moderate risk pregnancies.

Convenient Consults: Telemedicine visits are available throughout pregnancy, giving you timely, supportive access to care wherever you are. These visits empower you to address common needs—such as progesterone support or relief from severe nausea—without the stress, expense, or disruption of unnecessary urgent care or emergency room visits.

Referrals and Lab Services
Lab orders are handled through Quest, and most services are reimbursable by insurance or HSA.

Unity Testing can be ordered to provide early screening for a wide range of inherited conditions, as well as your baby’s sex and blood type. For Rh‑negative clients, this testing can help determine whether RhoGAM will be needed during pregnancy or after birth, potentially avoiding an unnecessary 28‑week injection or the need for urgent newborn blood testing after delivery. Unity Testing can be done in the early weeks of pregnancy and requires only a small blood sample, supporting informed, personalized care for you and your midwife.
